Auteur is a curation project where you hold $AUTEUR and put your power behind posts you actually like (recast on Farcaster or reply @auteurbot curate on X). Every 48 hours the protocol funds the best picks and pays both the original poster and the people who surfaced it. Same builder who made Pet Rock Life, a Farcaster mini-app where everyone had a little digital rock in a shared village with hats, petting, passports, chat room. For the dev to have a smaller follower count on X, the ratio of alpha followers is interesting.

Holders of $AUTEUR allocate curation power by recasting posts on Farcaster or replying @auteurbot curate on X. Every 48 hours an epoch settles, and funded works pay the original author plus eligible curators and backers from an Ethereum vault. Backing locks tokens on a person; reward recipients are chosen offchain.
