1-800-Flowers stock token goes live on Solana via Sunrise and Backpack Securities
@solana confirmed that $FLWS is now live on Solana via
@sunrise , issued by Backpack Securities. Sunrise listed a tokenized share of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (Nasdaq: FLWS) on 12 September 2026 and published mint FLWSojG1gB5VStYR3Sb4nQFRt43UBYkqih1j2CpVLqgd as the canonical Solana contract. Backpack's own note says each $FLWS token trades 24/7 on Solana and is redeemable 1:1 for a traditional FLWS share through Backpack Securities. This is a live mainnet listing, not a testnet print.
Why it matters Solana already hosts live tokenized US stocks. A new Nasdaq name with 1:1 share redemption changes which listed companies can be researched, held and traded onchain around the clock, and it extends the Backpack-Sunrise issuance route after other September listings.
Read the context
Solana is a high-throughput public blockchain used for payments, apps and onchain markets. Tokenized stocks are digital tokens meant to represent a listed share so they can move and trade on a blockchain instead of only during Nasdaq hours. Sunrise is a Solana listing and liquidity venue that brings new stocks and similar assets onchain as they list. Backpack Securities is the named issuer and custodian for this product: it holds the underlying 1-800-FLOWERS.COM shares and issues the Solana token. Backpack says holders can tokenize a conventional FLWS share by withdrawing it from Backpack Exchange onto Solana, or deposit $FLWS back to convert it into the underlying share, similar to moving a stablecoin in or out of an exchange. Unlike price-tracking synthetics, Backpack says these tokens are redeemable 1:1 for real shares and transferable to traditional brokerages. 1-800-FLOWERS.COM is a US gifting and e-commerce company (flowers, gourmet food and related brands). The listing sits in a broader live Solana equity-token market in which Backpack and Sunrise have been adding Nasdaq names; DraftKings and Wendy's were listed on 11 September, just before this window. Availability, tax treatment and whether a given wallet or venue will serve a user still depend on Backpack's and each app's rules.
